I bought the original Grey one when it was first released - 2005? Then I upgraded to the DS Lite when that was released, which was about a year after in 2006.

I bought the original red one in 2005. and then as I was playing outside with some friends I saw a black ds lite on the side of the road in good condition with mario party inside. so I had that for a while and then I bought my dsi last october.
